Just been watching some highlights of Chuck Lidell's. He's obviosuly very quick, but not the the most physically dominating guy (height and reach aside). What's the best way to develop that sort of knockout power in your hands? It's obviosuly going to involve ounching, but any tips?

Technique is one of the most important thing when it comes to punching power. Perfect your technique and learn how to throw your body weight into your punches and your knockout power will increase. Other than that, I'm sure there are some exercises you can do to increase it, try looking it up on bodybuilding.com.

As above, plus, loads of repitition, speed training and weights training for usable muscle gains. adequate rest to recover properly and a suitable high carb/nutrient rich/quality protein diet with good amounts of EFA's.
oh and time.

Punching power is about the adaptation of the mind and body.
It doesnt take 10 years for the mind and body to adapt. IF it does then something is either wrong with the trainee physically or mentally or something is wrong with the trainer.
A good solid punch can be earnt in less than a year if you have a good boxing coach and train hard.
