Here's a flying armbar I pulled during last year's Western Australia BJJ Invitational. Far from perfect, I know, but still pulled off in actual comp. Got awarded a blue belt shortly after :-P

You can cross your legs, just remember that the leg farthest from the guy's head is always on top and to keep squeezing your knees when you cross.
