Alright, so Howards is the best huh? So is there a big difference bewtween the $70 single and the $100 single, cuz someone on the board was saying that "you get what u pay for" regarding the Ouana $70 single. So does that mean the $70 HCK and Atama are lame?

      Attn JaredExtreme:

The STANDARD SINGLE is a 15 oz traditional single weave jacket that is shrink-to-fit. It has the same features as my other uniforms: thick and sturdy collar, lined seams, setsugi stitching, great fit and impeccable workmanship, denim twill pants.

The COMPETITION SINGLE is a 20 oz traditional single weave jacket that is pre-washed to minimize shrinkage. The fabric is extremely soft and flexible. This jacket is as thick as every other gi companies' double weave.

Many have asked how my STANDARD SINGLE compares to Ouano Single, and I feel my STANDARD SINGLE is superior to the Ouano. My uniform has a better collar, better tailoring and fit, better workmanship. Ouano does have a nicer embroidered logo tho.

My COMPETITION SINGLE is as thick as the Ouano Double. My COMPETITION SINGLE is pre-washed to minimize shrinkage and has a better finish to the cotton.
The Ouano double is shrink to fit. My COMPETITION DOUBLE is heavier than the Ouano double.

Kindai Judo magazine in Japan, in their August 2000 issue had a gi review article. They rated my uniform as the no.1 uniform in the world. They said my uniform was superior in quality to their own Mizuno, Kusakura, Mitsuboshi, Adidas, DAX Sport, SFAM Noris. These brands are considered the very best brands in the world for Judo/grappling. Forget about Brazilian brands, they are average at best, horrible at worst.

        sweep,

in the laundry room, my detergent of choice is "tide w/whitner" and "downey" for softners.

oh yeah, and don't forget "bounce" drier sheets for that "extra soft feeling".

i'll try and catch you tomorrow... i may be there a little too late to see your match. best of luck and kick some GERIATRIC ASS!!!

HCK is definatly the nest. Machado would be my second choice. Never like the Krugans, the pants are cheaply made and rip very easily. My pair ripped in 2 weeks, no refund or replacement was made. They are also a little tight in the armpits and shoulders(for me at least). I just bought a second HCK last week, the newest single weave. It's really light, but the stiching is very tight(unlike the golden weave gi's). I also have a hot weather from 2 1/2 years ago and it's still going strong. Besides those I also have a Machado Golden weave(I really like the way it fits me), and a Berzek(the pants are even cheaper than the Krugans, the top fits nice though).
