Hello, Im very skinny, I was just wondering how much Weight will depend in a fight Using Kicks and Punchs, I know it matters alot if the Person gets you onto the Ground because thats where weight becomes the biggest advantage. Also i was wondering if trained Properly can a kick from a Skinny person have the same Power as a person who is alot Bigger in the legs and same with the punchs.

There are no second chances.

weight, is generally an advantage, there is a tipping point though, if it doesnt compromise speed too much you get increased power, at a certain point there is a reduction in power, it would probably plot like a bell curve on a graphy at a guess.
But yeah increased weight helps then becomes unhelpful but then oddly becomes helpful again at the insane end of huge.
you only need to see the success of utterly skilless freaks such as bob sapp who can literally beat most people to death with no skill or fitness at all due to his rediculous size. everyone is of course beatable but its a good example of how far sheer size can take you...if it takes the likes of crocop to beat you and you cant even fight.
in terms of kicking ,can a skinny guy kick as hard a guy that is medium build for example. no the medium build guy will be more powerful ALL OTHER THINGS BEING EQUAL.

I agree with your post - you can be huge, strong and tough with little technique and throw a good beat down.
There are skinny, little guys who are freakin' explosive, have awesome timing and can pick a part and take out fighters who are much larger than them because they've put in the time and have the experience to do such. Technique and experience do matter.
Most of us are probably somewhere in between.
