You know, I read about half of the first entry and decided, for the first time, to respond without even reading, out of revulsion and nausea, all of what I'm responding to. Forget that Christian dogma nonsense. There's been more bloodshed than good in the name of Christ. Anyways, Jesus died for his own sins, not mine or even George Bush's.

"...for the first time, to respond without even thinking..."

Yeah, I would have to agree on that one.

Actually, throughout history, even though having its periods of violence as well, etc. Buddhism has been the religion that is famous for "practicing what it preaches".
Much of the religion deals with the inner workings of one's self, and to achieve moral and inner peace through your own effort and study into the things holding the most value out of life.
To claim that Buddhism has no comparison to Christianity is not only ignorant, it is absurdly ridiculous.
Out of all the religions in the world, Christianity included, it has been Buddhism that has had the history of the most peace and non-violence, and the "living" of their moral standards.
Do not down play a religion unless you have immense experience inside it.
And for the record, I do have immense experience in Christianity, which is why I somewhat ignore the attitude of "all else is inferior" because it is not true insight or wisdom, and ultimately not realy Christianity.

I also make the request for people not to insult Christianity because of the claims of those that call themselves practitioners. Study the religion in depth, and you can find a philosophy or deep thinking, rational, and compassion to all things.
