well i apparently missed a good show from you these past couple of days, didn't i?

for the record mate, i wasn't jawing at you in particular with regard to your pants argument about what "real men" do... apparently you felt so and thus your bollocks posts...

i'd respond, but i did that last time didn't i and got me a big bloody hook in my mouth, didn't i?

not buying it this time, sport!!! nice try!

besides you know about how afraid i am of "one-punch-johnnys" coming after me with their fists of death that supposedly render me unconscious with the first one! that's a laugher that one is! "i spent 20 years in the ring"! well, mate, who told you you should bloody well come out of it and bother the rest of us!! lol!

we call those blokes "turtles," because once you flip them onto their backs, they can't but flail their now-useless limbs, while receiving a pounding so brutal that even football fans would look away...

    cheers

Yeah, and when Golota is throwing "low blows" he is really trying to grab the other guy's schlong!

        • Damn! Between this in the gun control post, I haven't seen this much action--and this much trash-talking--in a while!

And to think: somebody was just complaining a week or two back that the forum is dead.

          Definitely kicking here!

Along with "Joe Manco" and John Bennett, I think I deserve some props for resuscitating the forum and lowering its intellectual quality at the same time.

            Worship me, I command you!

              • Although this is another of California Jack's attempts to spice things up, it brings back some weird memories of fights, fighting, and how it was looked upon by the populace in my area. I started boxing around eight which would have been in '57 and started Karate at 15 in '64. Now, where I'm from at that time you fought or you stayed home. Southeast Texas and southwest La. were tough places.
If people went to the ground in the late 50s or early 60s, they immediately got up. If someone tried to crossbody hold down someone they were jeered and told to let the guy up. If you kicked you were considered a "dirty" fughter. When the "Green Hornet" hit TV, all this changed and Karate, TKD, etc. became the fad. It got bigger with the Bruce Lee movies, the Chinese & Japanese imports, "Kung Fu" and some of the James bond movies. On the street, fighting changed also. It was now OK to kick, do eye gouges, etc., etc.. and so it went through the early 70s and the 80s. The UFC brought Grappling into the picture and its now OK on the street to do a holdown and look for an advantage. Whereas once the Heavyweight Champion of the World was considered "The Man", it ain't that way no more. Now, that was pretty much the prevalent feeling in the U.S., but obviously not Japan, Brazil, Thailand, to name a few.
                Funny how things change.

Are you referring to yourself, or Mickey?

You are both trolls of the highest order.

                  I salute you!

That's cool ... as long as you're not saluting with your "third arm" ...

I guess Ryu would know more about that than anyone ...

                    Yours truly,

I think Joe has an air of the "rough-rider" type about him, wouldn't you agree?

                        • I don't care what you're saluting with--fandom is always appreciated.

Just don't touch me with it.

Wow... I remember thumbing through this one.

Joe had the balls to say it well enough. BJJ is girl judo. Might not be politically correct but WTF...

                              There, I said it.

Pugilisim is obsolete since the days of the sword. Swords are obsolete since the days of the gun...

War is obsolete since the days of the (A) bomb...
