The book is bollocks. The first 3/4 is like this silly version of his upbringing and then fight history. It is all so melodramatic, making him out to be fuelled by some mysterious fury....... Basically he was a shit head who beat people up. The funniest part is about what was going on in his wife's mind when Royce Gracie beat him. It was like this "how could she cope?!!??! The agony!! Her man had always protected her! Always been the best! And now he had been shown to be vulnerable! Not the unbeatable machine she thought he was!!!!!! Who would protect her now?!?!?! The world was now such a terrifying place!?!?!?!? Oh boo hoo hoo!"

What a load of shite. Anyway, the technical side is very basic with little in the way of detailed explanation of technique. A few pictures and the odd paragraph of explanatory text. Wholly inadequate. There is this hilarious picture of Ken "demonstrating" a high kick. Except he plainly cannot do a high kick, and looks like an injured Stork. What a Dork. I bet Barbie's Ken could do better..........

Spanky. There are plenty of people that I like. Most of the Gracie's seem like honourable men. Except Renzo. I have the World Combat Championships video. He fights some Judo guy, beats him and then, for no reason at all, decides to stomp on the guys neck after the fight is over. He then makes a big deal of trying to be the sportsman, but the damage is done. He behaved like Shamrock the Shit-Head and I, for one, don't forgive him.

On a lighter note, I like me as well. I'm pretty cool.......

      hola

Bri- Renzo stepped on Spijkers after the match because he had made some remarks before the match that were completely out of line. I don't remember exactly but something to the effect of bending him over and making him his bitch, as well as a whole slew of comments, some maybe about his family.
I honestly don't recall exactly, but when I heard it I agreed with Renzo being outraged.
