swan104, yes, it is full glossy. Unfortunately it's not available in the UK just yet. You can only get it in Europe by ordering it on http//:www.fightscene.tv

Boy, you said it man... $8 an issue is an obvious sign of flutuating sales. It's a "direct" marketing ploy — overcharge to cover loss.

It's not $8.00 an issue, it is actually $7.00 an issue inside the U.S.($6 + $1 for shipping & handling).

This is actually our premier issue and we don't have the advertising yet to cover the expenses of the magazine, which is why we have to charge cover price for the subscriptions. We hope to have national distribution in America by the second or third issue. And once we get sufficent advertising, then our subscription prices can go down.

You can also order only 1 issue of the magazine, just as if you bought it in a store. Outside of the extra dollar for shipping, it is the same price as the other MMA magazines available except that we have 152 pages(more then anyone else) and are a much larger format and superior quality. It is well worth the price if you are a big fan of MMA and MMA magazines. Give us one chance, and I think you will become a big fan of the magazine.
