Did you see the hulk? His father captured his power in the end and allmost became God-like. That was cool and symbolic. Don't you think?

If rage causes someone to go on a Columbine-style shooting spree, to have a health-related stroke, or to beat your wife for having a bad day then I would argue that rage is counter productive. You can't be angry all of the time without doing damage to your ticker.

If you have a controlled burst when the situation calls for it (life threatening), rage is usefull. Channeled rage is extremely usefull - it has a poker face appearance

I don't know - I think Superman would put up a really good fight against the hulk. Would he win? Can't say but a knock-em, sock-em movie with the hulk and others would be cool huh.

Did you hear about freddy vs. jason this summer?

Yea, I saw the comercial for Freddy vs. Jason. I think Freddy's got the supernatural on his side but Jason got the pure brute strength and he doesn't mess around. Hard to say who is going to win that one.

I don't read the comic books but someone told me that Superman and the Hulk squared off a couple times and that Superman could not beat the big green machine..........I would bet on the hulk cuz he doesn't have a weakness and he's green (might be made of cryptonite)...........

            Rage and Anger

rage - n. Violent, or explosive anger.

anger - n. A strong feeling of displeasure or hostility.
            v. To make painful; to cause to smart; to inflame.

Interesting...If you take the dictionary definition of these terms than anger or rage is not something to be avoided in sport fighting. After all, isn't that the point i.e. inflicting pain?

However I don't think the dictionary goes far enough. I believe anger has a spiritual or emotional aspect also. Biblically, anger is an emotion that destroys. Check out Jesus rolling tables in the temple. He's being destructive, yet He's in a perfectly stable "state of mind". I believe you are given emotions to use in a right way. If you or your family are being attacked, your overall goal is not to inflict pain. It is to destroy. After all, if someone attacks my family I get no points for an armbar that hurts the attacker. On the other hand if I crush his wind pipe or choke him unconcious then I have destroyed his ability to attack. Not to mention his ability to breath and possibly his ability to live.

All that to say I don't think fighting with your emotions for sport is necessarily a good thing. Fighting with them in an attack is an essential thing.

            my 2 cents

There are as many belief systems in Martial Arts as there are Martial Artists. Disrespecting another's God is arrogant, foolish and in no way encompasses the warrior spirit.

I do not seek to offend. Only to open you eyes to a world you clearly do not see.

                            Bowing in respect,

                              OK

The warrior spirit WITH a pokeball vs superman vs the hulk (who isn't made out of kryptonite) vs Jesus vs Goku Super Sayan level 3

                              Place your bets!

I reckon Jesus can do miracles and the warrior spirit can infect people and make them fight whoever it wants.

Jesus can ressurect himself and the warrior spirit is immortal so at the end of the fight it would just be warrior spirit vs Ressurected Jesus

The spirit goes into jesus, and creates. War Jesus

He takes the pokebal and uses it to attain super sayan level 3

Super sayan War jesus level 3!

Everyone feels confident offending Christians. After all, they turn the other cheek.

I bet you wouldn't be so quick to offend Muslims. I can feel a Fatua coming on.

Personally I think we should lay of each others religeous beliefs.
