I have mixed feelings about the re-vote too...

But Bush is awfully eager to chalk it up to "normal irregularities" and move into the White House.

He's got a lot of nerve for somebody who lost the popular vote.

Looks like we're going to get a "minority" president. That'll be the first time in his life that Bush knows what it feels like to be a "minority".

          bobby:

          Bush is intelligent?

Are you talking about his dad?

I think you have been listening to too many of the Bush campaign's subliminable messages.

                  yeah ND

corporate control of media has abated since the 50s.

don't you know?* (sarcasm captiontioned for the intelligence-impaired)

but don't worry. it's no problem for democracy. the masses are too stupid to be trusted making policy decisions anyway.

                      you're too late

                      that discussion was weeks ago.

the real conspiracy is these pinko fags whining about going from 700 firms owning the nations newspapers to only 20. It's so much prettier to have standardized layouts not to mention easier to real.

it is a good thing to have inhuman entities with no responsibility to anything but profit writing our legislation for us.

                      we're too damn lazy.

"liberal media" - what a joke. only conspiracy-addled militia members believe that claptrap. The truth is quite the opposite. Corporate-biased (read, rightwing-biased) media is much more accurate."

It is a well known fact that the field of journalism has historically attracted liberals that want to change the world more often than it has attracted conservatives who just want to go out into the business world and make money. It is also more likely that a degree in areas such as liberal arts, philosophy, multi-culturalism etc... will get you farther in journalism than in the real world. Typically, liberals want to buck the establishment and protest everything/change the world more than conservatives, who are typically contnet with the system the way it is. There is a lot of liberal bias in the entertainment industry as well.

The only problem with that is that the papers are for the most part owned by rich right wingers. Who controls the content in the paper, the journalist or the editor/owner?

"Let the will of the people decide" hummmm
                            George W Bush

And yes intelligence is a very rare commodity however it completly skiped over the right wing christian coallition. Reagan? Bush?? Homer Simpson is brighter than those two. However intelligence alone means nothing (see Stephen Hawking, brilliant but a real asshole)insight, perception and sensitivity are much more valuable. Our voting system in general is one of the worst in the world as it was, now maybe we can at least move into the 20th century if not the 21st.

read just one of the links i posted.

liberals may go into the field, but they don't get to say what they want.

                              read this report:

                              purchase a clue.

free you mind and your ass will follow.
