There are no second chances.

There is one in thai boxing that is very common where in the clinch you push hte knee against the side of their leg just before they knee you and then you tsist them to the side, dont know what its called but it works for me.

This is a Judo throw. It was originally designed from a holding position with arms extended. The foot goes to the knee and pushes it to the inside and then you twist the body over. I use this throw quite often in BJJ. I like the hip toss as well since it is very effective and quick to apply. Somtimes I like to grab on and feel it out for a min. and then shoot under the arm and grab the collar pulling myself to the inside grab the opposite collar in the front with the other hand and then flip them over.Originally posted by Ghost

I've seen judoka use the kani basmi in matches so it doesn't amaze me you can do so too.
what weightdevision are you in? I think it might be better suited for the lighter devisions because of the speed
