Need to have all aspects not just throws etc. A lot of martial arts are for fitness,tournaments,self defense..yet not many pure ass kicking bone snapping styles. The most deadly is the one that combines all aspects of the rest specifically for your body and abilities.

as for statistics i think muay thai (spelling?) has the most sporting related deaths with it. Also i would assume ninpo (ninja) would have had a few deaths associated with it lol.
