      • yes bruce lee was small and very thin but he was well known to hit with the force of a man TWICE his weight , would undoubtedly be the fastest striker by far in all of MMA and as far as grappling bruce lee was spending as much as 8 hrs a day in his training sometimes....imagine if he spent a large portion of this on grappling training getting ready for a MMA show? theres no doubt in my mind he would have dominated his weight class ...he was a street fighter before a martial artist before an actor.

          • Yes he could have whipped Tim Silvia at only 135lbs!!! Bruce was awesome! He could have done a flying kick and hit Tim in the jaw, Tim would have fallen like a rock! Then Bruce would fight Arlovski for the title, he would karate chop Arlovski with the outside of his hand and hit Arlovski across the throat. Andre would drop like Silvia, and Bruce is the new Champ! Just like that, 1 kick, 1 chop and 135lbs wins!! Just like Hollywood! And for his first defense, bring on Danielson from the Karate kid LOLOLOLOL

              • who knows how he would have done, have you ever seen bruce fight with rules and gloves? it might hinder his fighting ability, he might have beat them all, he might have got knocked out, fighting is unpredictable.

                peace,

                • What a silly silly thread, none of you have ever witnessed Bruces skills and you never will, all you know is what other people have said. IMO i beleive he most probably was a great MA and if he wanted to compete in UFC he would have done quite well, but none of us can really comment on this can we?

                      • I think he would have kicked everyone's ass. He was strong, fast and one hell of a fighter. He could take a lot of pain as well. He would have trained in the grappling arts like BJJ for the UFC. He trained like a animal. Sometimes 12 hours a day. He would have knocked all of them out. I don't care about weight class. I think he would have been the best. If he was alive and in his prime trained for UFC. He would have knocked all them out.

                        • Howdey everyone. Bruce in the UFC? Bruce invented the idea behind UFC, if he were alive today he wouldn't be fighting in it, he'd own it, not bald ass Dana White. Oh and what's this about Bruce not being trained in grappling? Ever read a book called "The mother F**king TAO OF JEET KUNE DO", well I'm sure you all have, in it are single leg takedowns, toe locks, leg locks, armbars, double leg locks, neck cranks, shoulder locks, studies on judo and ju jitsu, Bruce was a complete martial artist just like every MMA fighter has to be to compete at a world class level. Bruce at his prime would not only win his own weight division but if approved of by the Nevada State Athletic Division would probably win the next two of three up from his at his same weight, at the same time. Bruce did everything he could to start and develop the MMA fighters we are today. He was a hero, for all of us. If it wasn't for Bruce there would only be the Boxing, Chinese, Japanese, Blade arts, and Korean forums at this site. And they would all argue over who's style is best.

They would owe him for getting the masses into martial arts then owning the clowns who thought chuck norris karate was real.
