I have noticed that many thai-boxers' bodies have a star tatto. I was wondering if anybody knows what the significance is. Thanks!

Im not sure there is any connection at all other than coincidence. There are more traditional Thai Boxing tatoos but I have never seen one in the shape of a star. I will try to post a link to some traditional Thai Boxer tatoos....

If I recall correctly, there is a Muay Thai textbook by Ajarn ??? (can't remember the name off the top of my head) that has a chapter which discusses the tattoo's and their purpose.

Does anyone have any pictures to go by for tattoos? Perhaps the words *Thai Boxing* in thai, or a picture of a thai boxer(animated).

Funny someone should mention this. I happen to have in Thai written on my right arm; Muay-Thai fighter. Got it from this old Thai lady in my neighborhood. Makes great food to.
