You say all other KF in the Philippines is fake commercialized, so then if shootodog learned KF in the Philippines then he must be fake. However KF is not even in his profile so, why are you afraid?

Believe is just that, it will never be knowledge because it can't be proven

it defends upon the KungFu School, but the KungFu School here in the Philippines that i know that are not Commercialized are the following:
1. KongHan NgoChoKun KungFu School
2. BengKiam NgoChoKun KungFu School
3. ArmsStrong(CheeKiong) ChiDianBun KungFu School
4. Philippine E-NEE ChiDianBun KungFu School

these KungFu schools are all found in Manila, my KungFu Instructor from KongHan and Philippine E-NEE resides here in Iloilo teach us 15 students privately..... and all of the kungfu school here in Iloilo are all FAKE Schools....

but..... on this opening classes 2004, i heard that there are teacher from FuJian who wants to teach TaiChiChuan in the School SunYetSen School here in Iloilo, i think that it is no longer a fake TaiChi, but maybe its more than a Commercialized TaiChi.... since it is a part of a curriculum in school, im not sure.....

you have to understand me, since there's no Muay Thai here in Iloilo, the reason why those MuayThai PDF file that you have, i am still reading now, is a good source of information about Muay Thai, adds another information....

there is a Muay Thai here in Iloilo but a very far to compare on what i saw in Television Muay Thai matches....

Sherwinc that doesnt work in the real world, you have to stick up for yourself. Standing down is one thing if a friend pushes you, or its just some kind of pissing contest. But when you are attacked you must defend yourself otherwise you'll end up in the hospital or dead. Remember that sherwinc all that mystical crap is worth nothing when you're 6 feet under. True it is better to avoid the conflict but there are times that you cant do that. Get your head out of your ass and start living in the real world.

On second thought seeing that you probally suck at fighting dont fight unless your life is in danger, if you are punched really hard unless you think they are going to kill you dont fight back. You'll end up getting yourself hurt worse, now there are good types of Kung Fu but i'm sure that you've found some real crap.

Here in the Philippines, evading a fight is a good definition of winning..... why????? since if you also have the guts to fight that street vendor.... sure he has plenty of companions there beside you and an IndianTarget will surely hit your back and you'll land in a nearest hospital.....

it is a fight between you and multiple opponents..... you will be surprised that another three of his companion simultaenously attacks you with a no holds barred and even the police is their companion....

and besides, Patience is our no.1 to be followed, if we have no chance to evade a fight - be sure to kill your opponent in not more than 60seconds or 120seconds - or, if you will not kill him - be sure to prepare for his coming unexpectedly while you are not prepared..... or maybe your family will get envolved.....

What about the debate about which is better stick (arnis) or knife? Or 12 gauge shotgun or 44 magnum, .45 VS sig.357, .40, or 10mm? Or what about arguing which methods of concealment are better. OR on the different styles of quick draw?

Listen no one carries broad swords around for protection and that goes for sais, samurai swords, throwing stars, spears and most other traditional MA weapons.

The only good reason to train in traditional weapons is for interest, fun, or competition. But for self-protection they are inferior to other more deadly or concealable weapons.

Nobody cares if Kung Fu is the most superior. It isn't that you are proud of your art man, its that you are so freakin' disrespectful of everyone else's. Let me restate this for emphasis... This is not an anti-Kung fu thread. It's an anti-disrespect thread.

Defend.net is a 'forum' where people 'exchange ideas' and hopefully 'learn from each other'. In order for this to happen there must be a civil discourse. Continually repeating the same statements again and again regardless of the thread subject is not discourse - its spam. Continually insulting any and all arts is not civil - it's rude.
