Savate what the f***?

Savate people wear SHOES!

I might have got myself confused at some point along the line, i admit that freely.

Isnt savate the style that features kicking with the toes? With steel toecaps id understand, but in bare feet is using the toes to make contact really a good idea?
Sounds a rather poor idea to me

As I live in Cambridge too I'll keep an eye out for you walking around the street in your bare feet. As for me, I wear shoes or boots in the street and also when I'm practising Savate. Don't knock it 'til you've tried it!
