I would think not.....the footwork would need modifying, as would a lot of the rolls and ducking and diving.
The reason I ask is after a bike accident a few months ago, my knee is very weak. Physio said it would be a year before I could train. Well three months on (and after a LOT of hard, and for weeks, unrewarding work) I can manage to runagain. I can use the squat machine, though not quite so heavy as before, and I can kip.
I am worried though that the excess force created in banging it against pads etc, will pull it out of postion more (my patella seperated from the rest o my knee) when kick withit,and likewise the twist it will go thru when kickin with the other leg.
Im thinkin of joinin a boxing club, to keep my hand in,and to improve my punching, and just wondered how the board would think it would need to be adapted much? If so what do you think I should be aware of
