Hey guys.
About 2 months ago I accidently stood on my toes on the mat while working the pads. After that the it hurted at the balls of my feet and also on the upper side (where the toes begin). Loving the training I went on training for a long time, hitting the toes a bit now and then, which of course hurted like hell because the muscels of the toes where already very tender.
Finally I decided to completely lay off kickboxning for a while. I held out for two weeks, and the foot felt pretty good, so I though that if I buy training shoes to keep the toes from bending I should be able to start training again with no problem; the remaining injury would heal up.
But as you know, you practically stand on the balls of your feet almost all of the time you train. So again the muscels felt very tired and tender.
So I guess now I will really have to restrain from training until the muscles are 100% healed. To speed things up, I've heard tiger balm helps.. is this correct in my case?
Does anyone have experience with this? Maybe some experienced trainer?
My god I need to get back in the gym, or soon I will break my chair from practising kicks on it!
