  • Question and NYC camp

Hello all, I know that some of you are in the NYC area and have trained in some of the gyms so here's my question:

I've done a bit of research and I've decided that the WAT, with Kru Nurse is the place for me, however, I am a bit anxious and wanted to see if any of you can fill me in on the atmosphere and just the way the gym is run. I want to be at a camp where there is comraderie and more like a training camp than a "unpersonalized class". I'm thinking about training 4 days a week..so I want to be sure that I'm going to be with a bunch of guys that "care and are patient" - not one of those "kickiboxing" courses they offer at like Bally's.

Another thing is that I am not flexible at all..will this be a problem?

Since some of you may, or still, train at the WAT any advice or input would be MUCH APPRECIATED.

    Thanks,
    C

I've never trained with Phil Nurse's group, but seems to me you're overthinking and stressing on it too much.

Just relax, go to class, do your best, enjoy yourself, then come back here and post about your experience.

Kor Hi Chok Dee! (Good Luck!)
