            Your body will be conditioned to do Muay Thai when you do Muay Thai.

                  bro first off.... this is just an assumption, but it looks like u spent way to much time on your arms, and maybe chest. Which i see people doing all the time. Your Back, and legs and core are jsut as important if not more important, to fighting. Since, they are where you get your power from.

                  If your asking what i think a good build for a sport like mauy thai is, U should look balanced, not really big arms, and chest with no abs or chicken legs. Even Though looks are not important, strength is im generalizng.

                  So work out each body part hard on different days. Dont neglect legs and back either trust me.

                  And Btw, idk if u know this but sports like this require less brute strength and way more Muscular endurance. Cause u dont wanna blow your wad in the first round or w/e while the other guy can go for another 8 rounds.

                  So maybe mix up hitting the weights, with intense Resistance training ( I.E Pushups pullups chinups, plyometrics and stuff like that).

                  thats my opinion though.

                    That's the way it is with all contact sports, even wrestling from my minute experiences...

                        You're just staring muay thai? If you haven't started yet, start ASAP.
                        Like everyone else has said, how's your cardio? And by that, we don't mean how long can you run on the treadmill for. We mean, can you hit the heavybag or kick the thai pads with full power for 2-3mins straight x 5 rounds?

                        My one advice to you by just looking at your pics... Where's your abs? At my thai school, we do crazy ab work ... sometimes 1500 situps a day at the start of the session and then many more throughout the class. In between those times we're doing intensive cardio types of exercises.

                        How long are you stretching for too? And how do you stretch? Try pairing up with a buddy for stretching out your legs ...

                        As everyone else said too ... "fear the guy with the cardio, not the muscles" ... its true... most larger guys in thai boxing matches end up turning blue/purple cuz their muscles dont get enough oxygen after round 1. And, creatine won't help either... The smallest guys at my gym tend to have the strongest and fastest kicks ... and can do it continuously throughout an entire match. So reconsider on the 'bulky' look.

                        Good luck with the training, and work more on your cardio + abs ... INTENSIVELY!

                          How long do your classes last? At my school they are for an hour and then 3 hours on Sunday evening (more work gets done then), doing 1500 crunches has to take a while...how much of your pad and bag work, and timing does that eliminate (if any)? I am big on AB work too, but I make them do most of it before or after actual class, or on their own, so I have more time for drills during the class time. What is your schedule like?

                            Hey man thats 1 screwed up body whether its for Muay thai or not. Wats wrong with ur chest?. U ever heard of Bench press?. You have descent arms and bicepts but the rest of ur body is unpropotional to them. AND U DO SEEM SLOW NOT INTIMIDATING. Man if u want to bulk up do a 5 day program a week contributing to every part of ur body on different day. eg. Chest- Sat, Legs- Sun, bicepts- Mon...ALso make sure u keep hitting the bag and doing stretches so u dont lose speed an flexibility. 1st mayb start sit ups an running to lose fat and gain abs, u seem chubby.

                              Tolejh, it looks like you have a chest condition known as pectus excavatum. I've actually got that too. Just wondering if you were aware of it?

                              By the way, Ravin is an ignorant idiot, there's nothing wrong with your chest that "Bench pressing" will do shit for.

                                Sunday's are usually the days we do crazy ab work. And Sunday classes are approx. 3 - 3.5 - 4 hrs.

                                We also train on Tuesday's + Thursdays for 2 - 2.5 hrs.

                                We usually incorporate the ab stuff with our group warmup + stretch ... then majority of the class doin thai boxing stuff, then the last 30mins (or extra 30mins for those who can stay back to train longer) we'll do extra cardio + ab + bodyweight exercises.

                                So yeah, most of our training time is allocated to pad work, partner work, sparring, etc, or learning a new technique ...
