Hey,
Im just curious of what kinda injuries I can get from doing/conditioning for Muay Thai. I've done a bit of research and I found out that when you condition your shins, it kills the nerves and stuff which causes Blood clots and Shin Splints. So I was wondering how to prevent this and does this happen to your elbows too? when conditioning them. I also found out that muscle tissues and fibres begin to tear.
I'm really not sure about starting Muay thai cuz injuries from this might get in the way of my other sports....

) Btw, Im probably just learning Muay Thai as self defence and will only use it if I really have to.
They are held by someone around stomach or chest level to kick. Some people roll bottles or sticks across their shins to try and toughen them.
