  • Worth it for Muay Thai?

In order for me to start learning Muay Thai, I have to ride the train 3x a week, an hour each way (I wont be paying for it though) For like hour classes I believe, and the rate is like 99 a month, which I think is considerable low for this area. I'm 14 though, and I'm wondering if it will be like really watered down muay thai. But anyways yea, is it worth it to travel an hour each way on the subway for an hour( i think) of muay thai for 99$ a month, and do you think it will really be watered down?

Heres the place if anyone was wondering:http://5pointsfitness.com/MuayThai.aspx

that school seems pretty legit. they have kali too which is awesome. 99 bucks a month sounds just about right. the only downside is the long way you have to travel.

Well you already know my opinion of the place.

I don't remember if I told you or not, but you can get a free trial class if you call them up.

5 Points is a quality program. If you've got the time to invest, I recommend them

I drive 1 hour to train, leaving my house at 6am to avoid trafic, and drive back 1hour 30 minutes at least, due to traffic congestion. I wish I could take train, and relax traveling to camp. The training is so much fun I don't feel the burden of traveling. Just be glad that you have the option of having a good school to learn the M art of your choice.

Do the free trial class and see how you like it. It's worth any amount of time and money if it's getting you where you want to be.
