    Nice find!

Fairtex has a lot of heart and an iron jaw to go with it. He was able to withstand Jongsanan's huge right uppercuts in Rd 2 and returned the favor with his ax elbows!

PS - Jongsanan is pronounced, Jongsanan not Yongsanan....

Listen to the Thai announcer. He's not Dutch....

That was great. Both of there reflexs were spot on and the skill and technique was great. the only problem i have with that kind of fighting was that they were throwing elbows accuratley and i didnt seem to phase either of them. meaning there couldnt be a large amount of power involved. but then again thats to be expected from there small stature. over all a good fight though.

...or the more likely reason, both guys are top-notch muay thai fighters and have solid chins. If you get hit square on the temple by an axe elbow, no matter the size of the person doing it, it can cause a concussion (even though it might not KO) or it will open a nice gash on the face.

Its bone on skin or bone on bone contact.

i get what your saying but i mean come on if someone like ramon dekker or Baukaw through an elbow at you eight times you wouldn't flinch or fall down? they have power and they know how to use it. chin or no chin, if their is power behind it your body can only take so much.

              I'm sorry, are you trolling?

I remember watching the fight and wondering the same thing. The way I see it, as fighters get better, at a certian point, their ability to deliver punishment outstrips their ability to take it undefended. One can only get so "tough". Now as we all have seen, all it takes is one good shot from a power hitter to KO another fighter, be it a hook, cross or an elbow. On the other hand there are some fighters that seem impossible to knock out, like Mark Hunt. Are you saying that these guys are like that and they could eat the best shots in their weight class and keep going?

Honestly curious as I have little ring experience (albiet some)

Classic fight from two legends of Muay Thai. These guys hit hard and are tough as nails.
