That was great. Both of there reflexs were spot on and the skill and technique was great. the only problem i have with that kind of fighting was that they were throwing elbows accuratley and i didnt seem to phase either of them. meaning there couldnt be a large amount of power involved. but then again thats to be expected from there small stature. over all a good fight though.

I remember watching the fight and wondering the same thing. The way I see it, as fighters get better, at a certian point, their ability to deliver punishment outstrips their ability to take it undefended. One can only get so "tough". Now as we all have seen, all it takes is one good shot from a power hitter to KO another fighter, be it a hook, cross or an elbow. On the other hand there are some fighters that seem impossible to knock out, like Mark Hunt. Are you saying that these guys are like that and they could eat the best shots in their weight class and keep going?
Honestly curious as I have little ring experience (albiet some)
