hey I'm from Melbourne,Australia and was wondering if anyone knew a place where i could learn Pradal Serey, coz i know its similar to muay thai but uses more elbow work, I'm looking for a good fighting style that makes good use of elbows and knee's, or if anyone knows where i could learn muay boran if not then i'll resort to muay thai

Muay Thai use a lot of elbows and knees. Muay Boran is a lot more traditional and probably not what you're looking for to be honest.

Just go around to the different gyms in your area and see what they do. Certain gyms tend to be better at certain things. Even if you ask other trainers and fighters "what gym seems to be particularly good at elbows/knees"

It also depends on the camp. You *may* find what you're looking for in a MuayThai gym if you shop around a little. Different camps place varying levels of emphasis on different aspects of the game. But even so, check out the Prada Serey too! Its best to check out a couple of different gyms and styles when deciding where you're going to sign up!

In Cambodia they have lethwei and pradal serey and in Phnom Penh bokator which I think is the best of all Cambodian arts for street and has very good use of elbows in ways different from muay thai, but I don't know where to study this except Cambodia.Even Thailand does not have schools for this that I can find.I don't think you can go wrong with muay thai when it comes to using your knees and elbows, and it is much easier to find a place to study.
