I've seen the movie, based on the real life story of professional Thai fighter Nong Toom, more than a year ago. Excellent movie, superbly crafted, it has one numerous awards.

I remember reading somewhere before that her Wai-kru is something like 10 minutes long, where she pretends to put make up on etc. On one occasion, it pissed her opponent off, who just got out of the ring as it was taking to long.
Can anyone confirm this?

Only that some (non-fighters) might have considered her sex change more sad than her loss of Muay Thai skills.
