  • Some Camps I Am Considering Visiting

    Hey Guys,

I wrote a post on my blog about some camps that I am considering visiting. You can view it here: Some Camps I Am Considering Visiting | Dan's Muay Thai MMA

The camps are: Sinbi, Phuket Dragon, Emerald Gym, WMC, Jitti, Fairtex and Lanna.

If there are other camps you think I should consider, please post them on here. I will research and visit each camps website and take them into consideration. The only one from the list above I am definitely going to is WMC, because I want to visit a friend in Koh Samui.

If you have websites of the camps, please post links here. I hope to hear from everyone on the board, including Ghost.

    Thanks.

    Dan

fairtex is overpriced for what it is imo, lanna is a bit of a holiday camp but ok, wmc no, phuket dragon id avoid phuket or koh samui if you are serious about muay thai, jitti is good go there,

IMO i would avoid the wmc, the trainers are excellent, but it is a tourist camp.
if you do go, get privates from the coaches. wmc muaythai camp ::the one & only muaythai resort
there are other camps on koh samui, ask around. Ive heard there is a good one on Koh Phangan, jungle i think, remember reading Namsaknoi was there.

Ive heard good things about Sinbi gym, know a lad who has trained there and he swears by it. But you may easily get distracted by the local nightlife......=)

Jitti gym, good family atmosphere, the coaches are excellent, the training excellent, when ya train there ya feel like they actually care about your experience and ya not just another falang going there. its in a quieter area of Bangkok, but ya can easily get around via the subway. I highly recommend this one. JittiGym : The International Muay Thai Training Gym.

Ive never heard anything about the others. hope this helps. and remember, enjoy it while ya there.

Thanks man. Really constructive feedback. I appreciate it alot.

I have been to a gym in Phuket. I am going to go to Koh Samui, because a friend of mine lives there, but I think I am definitely going to Jitti as well

Nothing wrong with the hookups now and then

Esp. smokin' hot blonde scandanavians and the irresistible, exotic Hapa females.

im going to give Fairtex a try closer to the end of the year.

People say they are expensive, but they seem reasonable to me.
