Enjoyed the link with the old weapons prices are way high but its for serious collectors. Collecting swords takes some upkeep its difficult keeping swords cleanbecause they pit and rust if you dont.
All you need is love........and a sharp blade.....a hardwood flat stick......Oh, oh, oh and a Paraordinance lda 14.45 loaded with 230 grain hydra shocks, ranger SXT's or golden sabres
The japanese link to the sword making or the influence is interesting. Although its called a dah or dha which is a burmese sword i thought and the handle does look burmese.
was the large sword used on elephant back, they said it could possibly be an elephant sword or a sword used to hack at the elephant from the ground? just wondering? anyone know?
I guess it could have been used in both situations, but I would give the preference to the cutting elephant legs down as those on top of the elephants would have been more at ease with spears or maybe arrows?
