  • Karate College 2010 - Radord, VA (some pics)

As some of you may remember, I traveled to Radford, VA last night to coach Muay Thai at the annual "Karate College" seminar, which features instructors such as "Superfoot" Bill Wallace, Renzo Gracie, and Matt Serra. I had a blast, but I'm totally wiped out. I drove 4 hours from DC to Roanoke, taught a short afternoon Muay Thai seminar at a school there, then drove down to Radford to teach 2 hour long sessions yesterday evening. I also taught 2 sessions this morning... a one-hour session and a two-hour session, then drove 4 hours back home. WHEW!

Here are some pics I took:

I like some of mark hatmakers stuff, is he a cool guy? He seems like a pretty down to earth guy. What kind of turn out did you get the muay thai section?

Mark Hatmaker is pretty cool. He's laid back and fun to hang out with. Great sense of humor. When I get the chance, I like to hang out with him outside of the seminar classes.

Forgot to answer part of your question... The Muay Thai turnout was pretty good. I'd guess I had about 30 people per class session, and about 12 people signed up for my "Fight Training Workshop".

I have a lot more film, but these are the only clips that fit within YouTube's size & duration guidelines....
