ok so most of you guys probably know now that I am new to Muay Thai, there are only two schools in Houston, thats I know of so far, that teach MT.
I went to the first class tonight (to see if i liked this school)....from 6:00-6:45 he sparred with his students (optional part of the class. class officially starts at 6:45) anyway he let them puch him but that was it (no kick, elbow, etc..)and they were able to open up on him but he didnt go all out on them, one looked like he had a little exp nothing much but the other was in training to go to some tough man tournament and looked like he had been training for a while.
ok so class starts and he has a total of 3 students, usually he has 8, one was a fine asian girl, but thats beside the point, but damn was she hot....anyway the class went till 8 and what he did was went over jabs, right cross, uppercut, and ducking....basicly he held up his pads walked in a circle and yelled what hit he wanted and they executed, then he would swing at them and they would duck....
so that was the class....here is the money part 60 app fee and then i have to pay for 4 months up front so 87 x 4 (three class a week 1.5 each) so a total of around 450, after that its 87 a month.
oh and hes said that he also does not teach any of the "fancy moves" like spinning kicks or punches...he said baislcy any move that will expose your back to your opponent he didnt teach...
ok so guys what do you think about the class and the money and everything...thanks again for your help

dont know for sure but the other school i think teaches some mixed martial arts style that i guess uses some muay thai moves...have to check that for sure, but what do you think of that, ....incorporate good? or all muay thai
