Does anyone have knowledgeof his fights at the "Don Muang Stadium" or "Don Stadium"? Supposedly he was the "Thai Champion".

I read about that back in the day. There was an article in Black Belt Magazine that talked about it. I looked in a recent Muay Thai magazine that talked about Master Chai's fight experience, but the Don Stadium stuff wasn't mentioned in this one.

Ajarn Chai was a stadium champion at one of the stadiums in Bangkok that subsequently burned down. "Dom Muang" or something like that.

This is not to be confused with being a Thai champ, which is defined as holding both the Rajdamnern and Lumpeene stadium championships simultaneously.

According to Sifu Dan Inosanto, Ajarn Chai was stadium champion of Don stadium, which is where Don international airport is now located. I think I got the facts right. He spoke about a couple weeks ago in the Muay Thai class.

I was browsing the web the other night, and read a comment that stated {noone in thailand has heard of this stadium} , kinda sounded like a diss, and the website seemed pretty legit. The author said he was willing to change the statements if anyone had proof, I browsed the web for anything on the stadium, but found nothing. Anyone got solid info they can clear this up with?
