  • Also I do not count a slip when both fighters or the one who slipped immediately gets up as going to the ground.

I am 104kg and yes I have been attacked by guys much larger than myself!

There are a number of different factors that go into a good fighter, style is least of these. Some styles can be better for some folks while other styles may be better for other folks.

If you are smaller in stature then speed is definitely a key factor so systems that rely on speed may be better for some of those individuals.

I still say the factors that have most to do with a positive outcome in a street fight are (but am not limited to)

      1) Intelligence
      2) Mental toughness
      3) Physical strength and conditioning
      4) Natural talents and abilities (cannot be trained)
      5) Techniques

I also believe that Mental and physical toughness beats technique!

          • Fights to the ground

I think most fights go to the ground in the real world because they ussually start from the clinch, and there is a high chance of being takendown especially if one gets the less of an exchange he will wrestle. Besides that even the best strikers admit ending up on the ground in a street fight. Ironically grapplers are the most qualified to keep the fight standing since the practice defending takedowns and breaking out of the clinch the most.

            • I'm not sure why all these fancy forms of martial arts are being suggested here. As big of a fan I am of Muay Thai, even it has much lacking in replicating a real street fight. I can say you're 95% complete if you take just regular Boxing....and then just some form of grappling. Anything with much kicking is a waste of time, because realisticly, there's just not going to be much kicking done in a street fight. So there you have it, no one art is complete that now exists. Feel safe to go with Boxing and some grappling art such as Ju Jitsu or even just wrestling.

                WRONG!!!!!!

even thou how Good Mental and Physical toughness you are, you still have a very vulnerable 108 Cavity Points.....

                example:
                1. Armpit
                2. eyes
                3. groin
                4. adam's apple
                5. do i need to mention the remaining 104 death cavity points?????

                Note:
as usual, PLENTY OF TECHNIQUES LEARNED beats PHYSICAL TOUGHNESS

but 98% of our Hand Attacks is only Foul / Disqualified / not counted to any tournament rules that you have and the worst is it will only lead us KungFu to Prison if ever we kill/blind/permanent disable our opponent cause we dont waste our time to fight to reach up to 12 rounds of fights if we can finish our opponent in just 60seconds or it will not reach to 120seconds of fight.... with no referree breaks.....

                    Note:
you are exposed to a Commercialized Fights (with rules)

                    my turn:
what is the difference between a Commercialized Boxing Fights compare to a Non-Commercialized KungFu (not a Commercialized KungFu as common there in your place)

                            • Sherwinc the Gracie challenge is still up. You can go up to them and request no-rules and they will accept it. By the way learning a bunch of techniques is not the key of victory. Obviously you have not heard of the master in ancient china that studied 3 techniques and beat every master in the kung fu tournament. It is one of the most well known stories of kung fu. Obviously you do not know much about kung fu..............
