Like I often say, don't take MY word for it. What the heck do I know? Not a darn thing.
Here ya go.
12020. (a) Any person in this state who does any of the following is punishable by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year or in the state prison:
(1) Manufactures or causes to be manufactured, imports into the state, keeps for sale, or offers or exposes for sale, or who gives, lends, or possesses...any ballistic knife...any nunchaku...any metal knuckles, any belt buckle knife, any leaded cane, any zip gun, any shuriken [ed: "throwing star"]...any lipstick case knife, any cane sword, ...
It may just be that it's legal for them to sell you one with a blunt tip. People can buy double edged blades, but if you try to carry them around without a permit you'll be in trouble. People buy and sell them all the time, but the question is whether or not you can carry it. It doesn't make a very good SD weapon sitting at home, and if you don't have something better than a sword cane for home defense I suggest you start looking around for something else.
Naaa, it warned to keep them blunt tiped unless you had a permit. Sharpening them and carrying it around could make it illegal, but based on whatever law they were talking about it was fine so long as you kept it blunt.
For home self defense, it wouldnt be bad if you didn't have a gun, it's better than a knife... more effective than a bat.

Lol... so you proved what... nothing? lol good job . I was simply stating what the site said. They keep the disclaimer for their own safety from lawsuits... maybe it's not applicable in cali...
Uh, who said it was legal? The website? I would never trust a site selling stuff to give me legal advice. Look up the laws in your area!
Hey Tant01, do you think all the yelling in bold print is working?
No, the bold print is irrelevant lol.
Ummm... why would it state that, honestly, people would look to sue the company, you doubt this? Why else would the put a disclaimer.
I have carried them around, and have never been stopped by a cop, nor did they even slow down when they saw it... Not saying they knew it had a blade, they probably didn't, but the chances are they wouldn't stop you anyway(where I live at least). I'm going to check the laws over here to see what's the deal with that.
I usually carry a knife, brass knucks, or both. Used to strap a pipe to my leg, but can't in the summer(shorts). I've heard anyone can carry mase... is this true? If so, how good of a weapon would mase be... I've never seen or heard of it being used so any info on it would be nice.
Some truths are self evident. Denying it doesn't change the reality.
There is hope though. Perhaps one day you will actually open your eyes?
Packing dot org has a comprehensive list of weapon laws for each state.
Check it out. You need to agree to terms to access the data.
I simple stated what the site stated... I took it as a relatively credible source due to deterrence of false advertisement by such factors as lawsuits? I said I was wrong about Cali law, and who knows what other states... so you're restating what I've said... and I'm the stupid one .
And true, if I were dumb, which I'm not, there would be hope becuase I'm young. Maybe not so for you?
And true, denying a truth doesn't change the reality, but when the stated reality is false, then it holds no value.
