Larpers is a term some people like to use here for those who train and believe in unrealistic applications for SD.

I dunno about you, but I'd say that defined people who had no experience to rely on and trained in an unrealistic manner for SD.

Self defense is about surviving criminal attacks. Rape, kidnapping, armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, mass attacks, home invasions, car jackings, hi jackings, active shooter incidents, all sorts of criminal behavior.

So anyone not practicing to survive those types of situations, and instead trains exclusively in a sport yet claims to be a martial artist, is a Larper.

So to make it simple, anyone advocating using your limited time to train systems that either effect you without touching you, or systems that train solely against single opponents who are always unarmed is a Larper.

And Sag lou is right, trying to hold a intelligent discussion about SD with people like that is impossible.

In Ponytail Land, anything anyone does that TTExcrement doesn't approve of is illegitimate, regardless of why or how they train and what their actual experiences may be.

Tant01 seems to be about the only person you can count on to present a reasonable view on the subject. Sometimes.

Ju, Sadsacklu, let's see some vids of you guys demonstrating TH3 D3adly techniques of GJJ for street defense.

Let's see what information the massive amount of training you two do in live action.

I'll give a detailed account of all kinds of shit I've been in if you both post a short vid explaining one ground app of BJJ that defends against multiple opponents.

It doesn't even have to be armed opponents and you can film it on your cushy padding in the gym you so ardently training GJJ constantly in.

Otherwise STFU because nobody gives a crap what a keyboard commando says.

"Hide behind the anonymity of the net." Like your friend MR. A. accuses people of doing. Some of us have put up, and it shut your asses up in those threads.

In fact in the vid threads neither one of you showed up to spout off.

The gauntlet was throw and I picked it up. Now I'm throwing it. Either post some vids proving how your knowledge of GJJ will save you in an altercation involving more than just some pads and a ring, or GTFA cause you are just mouth and no substance.

When did I ever say I trained GJJ, ponytail?

So you just like telling people to bet their asses on something you've never done.

At this point I doubt you ever trained anything more than your eyes on the T.V. .

Keep avoiding the request for some video of your stunning skills. You like to change the subject whenever asked.

                            Let's see the vid.

I believe I've said many, many times that people should not bet their asses on something they've never done.

No, he wants people to bet their lives on suplexing people with knives like him, he's done that

Since he's big on claiming you have to have done it in practice before trying it in the street he either practices suplexing knife wielding attackers quite a bit, or he's giving advice he doesn't follow himself. Or...he's full of shit, you be the judge. You can take advice from a clown who claims he suplexes people with knives, or look elsewhere for intelligent and practical discussion of SD.
