There are a lot of bozos in the Bujinkan and a lot of people that do the whole ninja assassins of death image to attract students. I irritate them on many boards and in person. The potential of the Bujinkan is much greater than many seem willing to explore.

You are right, it is the subject of another thread.
So in a nutshell your beef is not with Williams knowledge or skill but that his lineage is not quite Japanese enough for you?

Were you this confrontational and contentious while living in Japan? If you were then you must have been quite a hit

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to mellow again

I think you nut-buddies need more confrontation and contention in here, if for nothing more than to appreciate the love shared between you.

What's the matter Jr? Not getting enough attention? Are you going to throw another lil' tantrum?

Wait a second, do you find it hard to believe that Japanese living in Japan all their lives do not speak Japanese?

              That seems rather silly.

Almost as silly is the idea that most Japanese do not speak any English, which may explain what you are trying to say.

Have you ever been to Japan? Do you know the situation of English competence first hand?

Trust me, if you are not in some sort of capacity where you have to deal with non Japanese on a daily basis, the amount of English spoken by Japanese is rather slim.

You seem to be thinking that the arts I listed actually advertise globally. Go ahead and check and try to find some sort of advertising outside of Japan by some of the arts I talked about.

Are you actually one of those Americans that expect to travel to another country and have people speak your language instead of you learning theirs?

Let me clue you in on some reality. Many bujutsu traditions in Japan have less than a hundred students. The majority probably have less than 20. There is a loss every year or so of a tradition due to the fact that too many students dropped out for it to be passed on to the next generation.

Considering this, your expectation that Japanese learn English seems like the typical self- centered world view many Americans I refuse to associate with take. If you are in Japan you learn the freaking language. I happen to think that people that live in America should learn English in order to function.

Find me an advertisement in English by an art I listed, other than the one I said would be easiest to confirm, and come back to me. You probably can't.

More like he tries to talk about what the samurai and their tradition were without being competent to say. If he just gave up the terminology and silly costumes, his link to Japan would be not important.

I adapted to my circumstances. In English I react as a native English speaker would. In a circumstance where Japanese rules were in effect I played by them.

Of course, I see that you just insulted another member with talk of a tantrum. Your talk of my actions are now placed in context.

Wow. I see you like to make assumptions based on small amounts of information.

You also like to cast things in a light more pleasing to your side of the argument.

I'm not gonna play word games with you. It's obvious you're taking things out of context to fit your opinions.

I have little time for games.

                  Bye.

Nice talking with you again Jubs.

Fair enough. As for TK, he enjoys that kind of stuff. Just ask him

Feel free to come back when you are willing to discuss things instead of insulting others and running away when things go against you.

Of course, if you were to respond further it would just prove you were just trying to get in the last insult. Your move.

Because he makes you feel better about yourself.

It's the same as going to Walmart at 2am.

But sometimes it does get frustrating, like that episode of the Twilight Zone where all the real ugly people make fun of the pretty girl, like a Bizarro World alternate universe.

In other words, this forum is Walmart, and you're a pretty girl.
