  • Whistling Nose

Every now and then when I breathe my nost whistles. It is starting to really piss me off. Especially in class when we are all sitting there doing our work and the entire classroom is silent. Then all of a sudden it's like someone's whistling Kulau's Second Symphony. Anybody know the reason behind the whistling nose? And what can I do to prevent it?

My guess is that it probably has something to do with the nosehair....

      Let me rephrase my qestion
Is there anyway to stop my nose from whistling without it hindering my breathing capabilities?

Shove a coupla tampons up your nose and breathe thru your mouth.

It's not the nose hair, it's the shape and size of your nasal cavities. Eventually the tampons will stretch out your nasal cavities and you'll be able to breathe without making noise.

You might also want to try proper nasal hygiene; saline nose drops to keep the interior of your nose moist and blow your nose out frequently to get all those dried-up crusty old boogers outta there, that's what's making the whistling noise.

He's 14, he looks like he's 32, his nose doesn't whistle, his ass don't bleed, he lives with me and therefore has to survive each day my presence in his life.

Yeah, I guess you could say he does MA...

I'm guessing you're in your 50's. And with old age comes great wisdom. I'm guessing that's why you're still able to barely beat him. You and your "old folk's knowledge". -shakes fist at you-

You got my age (which you can easily look up in my profile) and some of the other things about right, except for the wisdom part. My mind is mostly filled with useless trivia and lately any new info I learn bumps out some old piece of info, whether it's important or not.

As for my son, he's gettin' to where I can just barely keep up with him. Someday I won't be able to even do that, but that is a father's ultimate goal, for his sons to surpass him.

Don't u have a bleeding butt also? This could also be due to you being a tense and tight person.

Not mine. He actually doesn't want me to learn Bjj or judo for 'his own reasons'. What's funny is that he himself has done judo for 6 years when he was my age along with many other MA...

But being tense and tight is highly valued by his gay lover, so why would he possibly want to change?
