    Fishermen....???
Do you even eat fish Toadie?
Vegan...if not you really should shut the **** up. Nobody likes hypocrites.
    Drink beer? Like sugar?
    Dipshit.
People like you make me sick and define the tyranny of the left.
I do not eat fish that isn't breeded, i'm not a Vegan.
most farmers do not just take from nature so even if I would drink beer, which I do not, it wouldn't be hypocritical
No farmer can just take from the land, he needs to put the seeds in first so this is no comparison to most fishermen, forrest unfriendly loggers and babysealclubbers.[/QUOTE]

True...some fishing practices are fucked up, i.e. dragnetting and long-lining, but the rest of it is okay...what is your problem?
Give me a sincere and articulate rebuttal, and maybe you can convince me that your not an idiot, till then, tra ta.
My Problem is that if there wouldn't be any control over the fishermen, they would just keep fishing until a species were gone, pluus they are the ones to complain the most if a temporary ban on a certain species is set, even to this is done to protect their own job in the near future
I detest people who think killing babyseals is valid because they also eat the fish that they are trying to eat ( wouldn't it make more sense to kill the adults instead of the babies?)
I have no repect fo people who think anything in nature is there for the taking

Most fishbreedingfarms were only set up after the fishermen did so much damage that without breeding they wouldn't be fishing at all
Even logges are that stupid, that would be like striplogging an area and than having to plant seeds only after there is no tree left

And lets not forget Japan's Whaling industry under the cover of scientific research, where only a marblesized part goes to the lab and "to not waste the rest" it is eaten, they are raising the quota and say they don't care what the whaling commisioon thinks about it

It makes me so happy to see how that irritates the eco-nuts that I am really looking forward to timing my next trip to Japan so I can finally try some whale-o-burgers!

Interesting deduction. What is your purpose in asking?

                    Aigh't...lets put this differently...
Who the ****-do YOU think YOU are to judge what some people do to survive. What may seem to be blatant and brutal exploitation is not always the case, although in some scenarios, yes, I agree some shrewd profiteering people will do these ecologicly disgusting acts in order to make a larger profit...but in some cases it's just poor people doing what they need to survive.
It's easy to judge others when you've never truly seen what some people need to resort to in order to live.
Plus....you should start drinking beer, it's actually good for you (sans carbination)

                    Oh....
and...change your fucking signature. If you've never taken ecstacy (I'd put money on that you've never even seen a roll in your life, nor been to a rave), you have no clue what your saying, and hence no right to make comparisons, alright....alright!

Toudiyama is talking about replanting. I think some companies who remove natural resources do try to replenish them. Farmers do the same, except when they are moving into an unestablished territory, then they usually tear the land down to make it farmable and operable, which is a net loss in terms of natural resources but helps us stay alive.

If the man don't drink beer, he don't drink beer....

...allthough the Dutch & Belgians have some pretty good wheat bears and ales!!

You lost money, I have all right to make comparisons, more so even thanpeople taking XTC these days, I used MDMA not some weird deriviate
So unless you got some proof that my sign is untrue I would say STFU about it

Exactly, I don't have a problem with those who replenish
I wouldn't even mind those farmers burning down forrest for new farmland ( which they do because they don't replenish) if they would plant trees on the land they leave (BTW in the past a lot of those farmers would be cocafarmers)

Again I'm not an Eco fanatic, in fact, I don't like them at all, I place them next to anti globalists, Oh and lets not forget anti fascists that use violence to reach their goal ( the trademark of what they are against)
But you have to be blind tosee that without replenishing the rescources will be stripped, leaving us without them in the future
Also Nature is like a cardhouse, you might be able to take out a few cards but eventually it will all go down
Unfortunately in some areas this has already happened
You can't really control nature, something that even people with the best of intentions have found (introducing chinese or japanese fish in european waters to take the place of other species and then finding that the foreign fish totally start to dominate because of the lack of natural preditors)

Replenishing is the only way to prevent the cardhouse from going down

Sends shivers down my back thinking about it... Bring sugar, water and yeast....that should keep them wheat bears busy for a while...

Supid stupid stupid, I totally forgot to say that my feelings are toward the industrial versions
I do not have a problem with things like hunting in areas where there is enough game, as long as the hunter doesn't use a machinegun ( in my country I'm against it because we don't have much left)

Traditional fishermen in SE-Asia, no problem either they do not catch compllete schools of fish

Because of the small scale, nature can replenish itself
Large and industrial scale it can't
Now if the farme burning the rainforrest to make farmingground would move a few miles everytime they did it, the forrest would replenish, but by sticking next to the spot from the previous year, the open spots get bigger and bigger and it gets harder and harder for nature to replenish (eventually the open spaces are so huge it they will have an influence on the weather)
