While walking my dog, on a leash, he has been attacked by other dogs many, many times. Most of them Mutts, and alot of smaller dogs. People think that because they have a small dog, or a labrador, that they can let them run all over the place. Maybe it is good to instill a little fear in the minds of dog owners. It would be nice to be able to walk my dog without having to worry about him being attacked.

I wrote a bunch here a deleted it. I dont want to be rude. There was a time when men were men, and dogs were dogs. Bully breeds were originally bred as a working dog, to help farmers bring angry stud bulls into the barn. Sure was alot better than using just a pitchfork. Terriers became most popular during the times of the plagues for their fondness of killing rats. These dogs were very vital to many people for along time. But lately everyones become quite feminized. Hardly anyone does manual labor for a living, they live in quant little communities where their lawn is taken care of by others. Truthfully most people dont need a dog at all. Its wrong to get a dog if you dont have enough room for it. We bred these dogs to work all day long for the last 100's of years, now we make them sit in an apartment. Dogs just dont evolve as fast as peoples thinking does. If you want a dog for uncondiitional love, forget it. If you want a dog as an ornament, or social status symbol, your also looking for the wrong reasons. Some people actually want a dog to work, and do the things that dogs are good at. Pits are great hunting dogs, better than cats at killing rodents, can pull all day long, and can still watch over your property at night, keeping coyotes and other predators away. Sorry, but a cocker spaniel, or poodle is just not cut out for the job. You want a real working dog, get a Pit. If you want something to cuddle, get a teddy-bear.
