I don't think much of it, DickHardman. There are studies that suggest there was ice on mars millions of years ago; gradual temperature changes could have caused ice formations to move and 'weather' the surface.

Those markings on Mars's surface look like something familiar and our minds identify it - just like the Rorscarch inkblot test.

If there ever was life on Mars, the evidence will be proven by mining artifacts (if their were intelligent civilizations) or by chemical testing for traces of living material.

you should get back to your gay bashing on the democracy thread, since you fear that legalizing gay marriage will threaten your marriage and lead you to things like bestiality. and when your done with that, you can go find a thread that omaplata is on so you can call him a homosexual again for the millionth time.

No, you're just another nutjob who doesn't find the real world exciting enough (or maybe just too scary to look at straight-on).

                      eh, not the best comparison....

but true, who knows what those structures really are. the face on mars that triangle posted has already been debunked, theres nothing really there when they took additional photos.

its just interesting to think about imop.

There are actually photos taken from different angles of that rock that looks like a face. From different angles, you can actually tell that it's nothing more than a unique rock that looks that way due to lucky lighting and angle.

Not to take away from the possibility that there may be life forms on Mars. Although I do believe if there are life forms they will be something along the lines of microscopic bacteria or single celled organisms.
