    i agree with this 100%

With this amount of shock tactics like this one it's no wonder that people don't take those of us who would like to change our nation's policies concerning drugs seriously. Just my $.02.
i dont agree with this however. shock tactics? the article was on bbc news website bro, if you think the article was a shock tactic then you should take that up with bbc news uk and email them. i was only interested in the validity of these two articles and what other people thought about them. i understand people get so emotional over jesus that they start to think and act irrationally, but that for damn sure doesnt mean i cant ask a question about him.

those two articles both say that "anointed ones" were all anointed by an oil that contained large amounts of cannabis and that this practice was common during the time. since i am not an authority on jesus and the rituals of his time, i posted this to get feedback whether or not these articles held any weight.

i understand that nowadays being inquisitive and asking questions is deeply frowned upon and can lead people to despise you and think you are crazy, but i really just wanted to know if the articles were true or not. i bet you didnt even read the articles, since neither of them had anything to do with legalization of marijuana. the reason the policies of our country dont get changed is because of people like you who jump to conclusions based on emotion without even looking at the information provided first.

    Did Jesus use cannabis?

according to these articles, jesus and his apostles may have used a cannabis oil to help heal people. look at these articles. what do you guys think?

"Jesus Christ and his apostles may have used a cannabis-based anointing oil to help cure people with crippling diseases, it has been claimed.

Researchers in the United States say the oil used in the early days of the Christian church contained a cannabis extract called kaneh-bosem.

They suggest the extract, which is absorbed into the body when placed on the skin, could have helped cure people with a variety of physical and mental problems.

The author of the article, published in the US drugs magazine High Times, says his findings are based on a study of scriptural texts. "

"The holy anointing oil, as described in the original Hebrew version of the recipe in Exodus, contained over six pounds of keneh-bosum - a substance identified by respected etymology, linguists anthropologists, botanists and other researchers as cannabis extracted into about six quarts of olive oil along with a variety of other fragrant herbs.

"The ancient annointed ones were literally drenched in this potent mixture.
