Try this: Next time your in a bar and talking to a girl that you might be interested in, don't overstay your welcome. After about 15 or twenty minutes tell here it was nice talking to her but you came here with with friends and would it be OK, if you'd give me your number, I like to "take the time to get to know you better" If she smiles and responds positively your in. If not, you've only invested 15 or 20 minutes and you can move on.

that is great advice, thanks. I have since decided though that I will be steering clear of bars and clubs from now on.

I would also recommend against going to church to meet women.

Sometimes, its not much different than the bar scene. I'm not saying this is the truth for everyone - you'll either meet women whom are looking for a very, very specific man that matches her ethnicity, socio-economic background and personality (and this is just being human, since nature is lazy)

you'll meet the same gal who hangs out at the same bar you go to, realizing this when you see her dressed a bit more conservatively.

you know, after being in the dumps for quite a while, i actually ended up meeting a hot little lady a couple nights ago. she was eyeing me from afar, so i went and said hello. we ended up chatting for quite a while, talking about all kinds of things. after thinking my luck had maybe finally changed, maybe i had finally found someone i could hang out with and talk to, i see her at the end of the night with some other guy all over her.

now, im not too disappointed, cause things like this are the norm for me. of course it had to turn out this way, and thats fine. i accept that. i just dont really understand why?? did this girl really spend 2+ hours talking to me just to tease me or get some kind of ego boost when she was never even interested in me at all? i just dont really understand. what did she get out of it?
