I might sign up at a college if it offered credit courses in things like Judo. Then again, why pay $40,000 for it at college when I can get it for $50 a month at the YMCA. Still, it'd make college a little more fun.
Actually the class is $56 for half a semester, which is roughly 3 months . Plus the school is paying me to take the Judo class.
...speak for yourself. I have to take a prerequisite class for my minor at a different fucking institution because they only offer it twice a year at the small liberal arts college I attend.
Judo? I fucking WISH!
Come to FSU, we've got a crap footall team that's steadily getting worse every season but otherwise it's a great school.
Dishes, housecleaning, watched the fights, out for lunch, watched my boy put my bookshelves together, did some pre-assessment since we're both starting new workouts (I'm so excited because I got my body fat percentage down by 7% in just six months). Then went to the store and then watched women's MMA. It was the perfect Saturday.
Worked on kickboxing with the heavybag and speed bag; did over a thousand kicks in two hours. Later just relaxed anticpating a big day of football on sunday. Taught a private lessons sunday morning. Monday is a holiday, off from work but teaching two more private lessons.
I'm finishing up my degree in clinical psychology here; www.westminstercollege.edu
After which, I'm either coming back to the same place to get a masters in counseling and becoming an LCC, or going to the University of Utah to enter into the accelerated nursing program, getting my LPRN and job security, then specializing in psychiatric nursing...which is actually the cheaper route, and has more job security and a higher income...but with the less prestigious title.
Choices, choices. I figure I should probably go the psych nurse direction and THEN when I have money, going off to earn that PhD, PsyD, or even an MD.
Fucking academia...
I plan on majoring in the Psych area as well, but I just don't know what I want to focus on, I'm kinda narrowed down to Child Psychology and Behavioral Neural Science. On top of that I still dont' know what kind of job I want .
I do a thousand crunches at a time and a thousand kicks in two hours but I'm gonna have to cram in the fall because my pace has been sporadic. Catch you young bucks tommorow, it's Miller time. LOL J/K.
