Wow, someone neg-repped me for suggesting that Mike B's posts were useful. But even if you don't agree with everything the man had to say, you have to admit that many of his posts were useful -- some of his posts on boxing fundamentals and strategy were great, and that's just the first thing that comes to mind...

I know exactly who that is, I wouldn't worry about it. He follows me round neg repping me every chance he gets, especially when Mike's name is mentioned. Its very sad.

          I wasn't aware Mike B had left

I always found him to be supportive of posts and protective of flames. As both a forum and Yahoo group owner myself I believe new posters need to feel comfortable with posting without being flamed for the slightest disagreement. A person when I joined quite some time ago was thrown out of here for insulting my wife, whom he had never met, the insult was removed but not the warning, thus helping to make new people feel more comfortable about posting.

As far as SEO goes my martial arts posts show up in Google Alerts more than any place I can presently recall.

osopardo's been preoccupied with an ongoing series of RT life dramas and traumas, something my doctor refers to as "crisis events" (unemployment & finances, family deaths and illnesses, working oddball hours, fatigue, depression, apathy, late-life career changes, health issues related to aging, etc. etc. etc.) and hasn't spent a lot of time online except for work-related activities. He is adjusting to the changes though and will eventually prevail. osopardo continues to think fondly of this forum and all it's members and sends his regards.
