We have had two shark bites attributed to bullsharks recently, one right around the corner from where I caught those specs.

Makes me wish I had a fly rod! I got a decent (vintage) fly reel... I'm half way there, right?
These are about 5 bucks a pound when available... And well worth it IMHO.
but you are gonna have to tell me how you prefer to cook that tuna? and @ 5$ a lb I am jealous on a few levels!

Nice to have access to fresh seafood, too bad about local conditions I have heard about CA's strict rules regarding fish and game.
Here are a few fish, I have alot more photos but they are pretty much the same thing, plan on taking the fly rod to the salt as soon as the wind lays down and the water greens up.

Fishing anyone?
Anyone here fish for fun or table fare?
I took up fly fishing 2 years ago and have been having a blast, mostly on small largemouth bass 1-4 lbs and of course the ever present sunfish, I am sure I will pick up my cast net and conventional tackle this summer, but flyfishing is great fun and a great way to get kids interested in fishing as well.
I will get some pics off my phone and post them up later, all the bass I catch I release I just don't think they are that great on the table.Tags: None
