    Iraq

President Obama has recently announced that it is time for the Iraqi's to take take control of their nation and the existing conflict - which will involve pulling out our existing forces and re-allocating them to other conflicts around the world, but this is nothing new - newspapers and other online sources have been talking about this for a few years now.

I believe that we've made considerable progress in rebuilding the Iraqi nation, restoring the country's own ability to defend itself, fostered an Iraqi form of democracy and have removed alot of the foreign fighters entering the country but I'm not confident that the gains made will be sustainable after we leave - maybe for a few years but we could be back their doing the same thing and history will rhyme - same situation, different name.

Its going to depend on how determined the Iraqis are to move forward in their own nation and what kind of western presence will remain. I've posted a clip that shows some of the issues that the new Iraqi security force faces - though its mostly through an interaction with the US army and the ISF.

I'm for the war and for an end to the war. Sadam had already used chemical weapons on the Kurds, and fired on Israel, one of our few friends in the region. Sad to see people die but then sanctions took their toll too.

Well let's not forget that it was The US who intervened in Bosnia, stopping a genocide. The UN on the other hand has a history of failure in this regard, Rwanda for example.

Somalia is a tricky one but remember 'Black Hawk Down'. Basically I think it's a 'rules of engagement' question. Also, why should the US have to do everything and the US taxpayer, pay for it.

Usually because one starts the other. Either over love for a woman or family member or love of a religion or specific Gawd.

When I get around to banning folks it won't be lifted in a few days this time.

You're making a mockery of the forum rules, moderators and administrators.

    No more WARNINGS.

I don't care if you've been here for 5 years or 7...If you have fifty posts or 9500.

I'd rather read spam than see another pre school spitting contest.

That would have been the war in Iraq.

Although the sidestep into the CIA's absorption of the Nazi's and their use in field ops and their serving as station chiefs was interesting.

If you want to discuss channeling energy try A-shit-a Kim's forum.

    What is jubs?
Individuals get high on many things...as i see it - and the government of the USA has sown signs of understanding too - we have always been living in a variety of evolutionary states.
One state which has always been a predominant state is the energetic state.
We have not long ago - it might have started with the no nukes awareness -entered the state/age of energy.
Today live and living is more than ever about how to preserve your individual energy instead of wasting it on short fixes.
There would not bee any advanced levels of MA, warfare, thinking and sensing unless there are individuals/species who have perfectioned the art of energy conservation.
Not to shoot does not equal not ****.
You seem to bee a prejudiced person who is looking for a fool to put some kind of blame on. Try putting it on me. But first you have to get me into your sight. Once i appear in your sight you will most likely shoot yourself into your own foot.
