                        You're joking, right?

                        * 75% of teenage acquaintance rapes involve alcohol
                        * 90% of acquaintance rapes on college campuses involve alcohol
                        * Alcohol is a factor in 100% of gang rapes

                        This from http://www.psu.edu/ouic/orientation1...sexassult.html

Those sound a bit high to me (I bet some gang rapes don't involve alcohol) but one of the *first* things I tell people who ask me about WSD is to watch how much they drink and who they drink around.

                        Oh, here's more:

·21% of college women surveyed who experienced sexual aggression on a date were intoxicated at the time of the assault, and an additional 32% reported being mildly buzzed—53% were under the influence of alcohol.

                        And from http://www2.ucsc.edu/rape-prevention/statistics.html

Everyone knows that alcohol impairs judgement so you're more likely to put yourself in potentially dangerous situations, less likely to recognize early signs of problems, less effective in running or fighting if you need to... Would a predator choose an impaired victim, or a sober victim? You tell me.

Also drinking implicates victims in the eyes of others, both legally and socially.

Also, when I drink I make sure that I'm at my house, at somewhere I can spend the night, or have someone walking or driving me home... No matter how close to home I am.

Classic example of a man who fears competition and wants to harass and argue with real men who have more real-life experience. Needs to make shit up and seeks out minute details in order to get his so-called points across.

Translation- Borespear wants to insult people and throw temper tantrums all day for months on end, as well as subjecting us to bullshit conspiracy theories, but as soon as people call him on his BS or try to actually speak from logic or experience, he has to put people on ignore and go crying to mommy.

He can dish it out but he can't take it.

I've never heard of an area where 20 cops get killed in a year... maybe a whole city(and it'd have to be LA or NewYork due to that amazingly ridiculous number). I mean it IS a livathanesque number. I don't think their fearing for their life that much lol.
Actually I was thinking of Southern California as an area rather than "the corner of 123rd and 9th". I believe the statistic is that a cop is killed in the US about every hour. If this is the case then I think there would be a few places where 20 cops are killed in a year.

Trust me, there are ways of making people talk, on top of the fact that their are plenty that will talk! You think people who believe in "stop snitchin" are the only ones who live in the hood? You GOTTA be outa your mind to think that.
Actually I did not study this for my doctoral thesis. I came up with this using things called common sense and logic. You may have heard of them.

Thats right genious, there are ways to make people talk but I can imagine what everyone would say if they cops "made" people talk. Like in Abu Gharaib right

There are snitches everywhere but people are less inclined to speak to police in areas where police are seen as the enemy. Also they are less inclined to speak if they believe the police will not be around to protect them later.

Sorry... perhaps you can tell me what qualifications I require

You are probably correct. I am sure no one has ever said they would like to kill a cop

With the two scenerios below... come on now... that's rediculous. I've seen it happen... but if his friend actually knows who did it... there are probably a wealth of other who know also, and are willing to speak... this goes along with your stupid statement above.
So even though you have seen it happen it is still rediculous. That is interesting.

You are correct, there is no need for his friend to assist the police because surely someone else will do it. hmmm.... good thinking.

So you agree that in this situation even thought the cops were acting in a manner required to ensure their safety you would still kick up a stink.

So far you have not done much to help your argument.
