  • Best triathlete training supplements for somehow over 65?

Getting back into triathlons after a 30 break at the ripe old age of 66. Did some research a few months back on training supplements and here are picks which seem to be working well but always interested in other opinions.

    Note. I use Thorne supplements.

    Iron Bisglycinate
    Beta Alanine-SR
    Advanced DHA
NiaCel 400 - nutritionist I know recommended this.
    Primal Harvest multivitamin
Super Beets powder drink to wash the above down in the am.

Protein/Creatine/Carb powder mix for drinking during the day as a meal supplement.

.5ml testosterone shot once a week due to low T. Cardiologist recommends keeping the level no higher than 600 which is around where I am at. Any higher and I my wife wouldn’t be able to keep up!

    Additional thoughts or recommendations?

I've had decent results with basic stuff like magnesium and omega-3s, and I added turmeric for joints. I was curious about more support during longer training blocks, and someone in my cycling group mentioned balkan pharmaceuticals. I looked into it, and while it's not something I use regularly, I know folks who said it helped them with recovery, especially as we age and the body takes longer to bounce back from intensity.
