  • Dental Work / broken tooth

Has anyone had dental work done during pregnancy? Part of my upper back tooth on my right side has broken off and I'm absolutely panicking. There's a filling in it but my actual tooth has broken a bit. I take good care of my teeth I'm so shocked. So I've to ring the emergency dentist in the morning... So so upset.

I have a broken tooth on the top right that needs fixed too! My appointment is on the 13th April. I’m feeling the same way however I think fixing your tooth is safer than running the risk of it getting infected late.

My dentist told me broken teeth with old fillings can get more sensitive in pregnancy, but getting them sorted is usually fine as long as they avoid certain meds and take extra care. I once had to get work done abroad and ended up using Colina Dental, and the experience was smooth and surprisingly gentle, which helped my nerves a lot. If the tooth is hurting or sharp, a quick check can save a ton of stress.
