Exaggeration? Have you tried it? Do you understand how the human body works? Obviously not. I am an advocate for edifying oneself on a subject before jumping to outlandish conclusions....but it seems I am alone in this. There is no need for your condescending remarks... after all no one enjoys being patronized by such uncouth, misinformed individuals such as yourself.Originally posted by jubajiMore exaggerration.

Pretty much all of the advice that is in this thread is ridiculous. If you have to employ these techniques to make a weigh in, it is due to poor diet, poor training, and poor planning. A serious athlete knows better. Here is a link. http://www.iahsaa.org/wu98-1.htma Find one study that suggests that the aforementioned weight loss techniques are safe and beneficial to athletic performance. I can find thousands that expound how damaging this kind of weight loss can be to an athlete. Find some attestation, and I will gladly read it.... just find any kind of substantiation if you want to deliberate. Until then, I don't have anything else to impart on this subject.Originally posted by jubaji10-15 pounds each time, usually in two weeks or less.
Please clarify as to what you consider "ridiculous"

Yes, yes. I'm sure all of your experience reading books tells you just that.
