If you can't handle that much meat/day, get a mixed protein powder that has whey, casein and egg albumin. This will give a slower release of amino acids into your bloodstream. Whey and casein both come from milk. The whey component is fast absorbing and the casein is slow absorbing. It's best to take whey before and after a workout and a mixed protein powder during the day and before bed along with protein from your daily meals.
